Four Hands + Two Cultures = One artist
Linda Storm is American, Pablo Perea is Cuban. They paint together on the same canvases. Art is their common language. Their studio is located in Santa Fe, NM.
Linda and Pablo had solitary artistic careers until they became neighbors in rural New Mexico in 2010. Their inevitable friendship lead to their artistic collaboration. Together they create with humility and confidence.
They paint parables. With archetypal, surreal symbolism they depict the impact of humans on nature, her endurance, and the universal cycle of life. Their studio now holds more than 200 co-created paintings, 100 of which were recently exhibited in New York City. There are also many works in progress, as they prepare for upcoming solo exhibitions in New York City and Havana, Cuba. Their vision is for their art to be a global presence of cultural collaboration and for their art to be in museums and public places.
